1963 - 2016


Timothy F. Carson, born June 13, 1963, fought a courageous battle with heart disease for over half of his life. At the age of 52 he entered heaven's gates on May 1, 2016. He is preceded in death by his father, Clarence Castle; brother, Pete Castle, sister Sandy Castle; grandmother, Vivian Shaw; former wife, Christina Criner and beloved dog, Tucker. He is survived by his mother, Violet Carson; children Dena (Tim) Baird, Brittany Carson, Daniel Carson; step-children, Jason (Candace) Daugherty, Heather Lykins, Timmy Lykins; siblings, Russell (Tina) Carson, Barbara (Carl) Fuller, Daniel (Sherry) Carson, Dennis (Donna) Carson, Rosemary (Ted) Eastham, Brenda (Rick) Noggle, Gary Castle, Mike Castle, Steve Castle, Bill Castle and Randy Castle; grandchildren, Tristan Carson, Xavier McGhee, Chase Daugherty, Cam'ron McGhee, Briston Cook, Ava Lykins, Isaac Baird, Alaina Cook and Aliyah Daugherty; special aunt Charlotte Shaw; former wives, Michelle Brush and Lori Williams and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Tim was an active member at Lighthouse Ministries where he mentored and led Bible study. He attended Westfall High School, The Culinary Education Center and Columbus State University. He worked passionately as a counselor to people recovering from addictions and was an inspiration to all with his ministry to the homeless. He was previously employed at PICCA, Maryhaven, Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections and Aladdin Temple.

He loved riding his motorcycle. He was a culinary trained chef. His talents and hobbies included gardening, fishing, canning, carpentry, mechanics and handy man work. He was a devoted father and proud grandfather. He was filled with joy when visiting his grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and doctors at The OSU Ross Heart Hospital.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 4:00 pm, at Lighthouse Ministries CCCU, 2295 S. High St., Columbus, OH 43207. Pastor Stephen Palmer officiating.
