Helga Henrietta Johnson, age 87, of Galloway, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2016.

Originally from Darmstadt, Germany, she came to the United States as a young women of 19 years when she married the love of her life and her late husband Earle Johnson.

Helga was a long-time member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish in Grove City.

She enjoyed cooking, reading, walking in nature, and telling stories of her life in Germany.

Helga is survived by her two children and their spouses, Charlie (Mimi) Johnson, Christine (Mark) Youngs; three grandchildren, Brooke (Johnson) VanBlaricom, Erik Johnson, and Austin Youngs.

The family suggests donations be made in her memory to the St. Jude's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org. Masses on Sunday, June 26, 2016 will be held in her memory at Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
