BRECKENRIDGE

Stephen Earl Breckenridge, 63, of Columbus, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 24, 2016. He was born in Columbus on April 28, 1953 to Edward L. and Marjorie (nee Wyckoff) Breckenridge. Stephen is preceded in death by his father.

Stephen is survived by his mother and stepfather, Marjorie B. and Kenneth J. Lewis of Grove City, Ohio; brother, Daniel R. Breckenridge of Seiling, Oklahoma; sister Jody (James McFee) Breckenridge of Monroe, Washington; son, Samuel (Allie) Breckenridge of Baltimore, Ohio; daughter, Christina (Christopher) Mead of Howard, Ohio; grandsons, Noah, Ian and Owen; nieces and nephews, Laura, Courtney, Adam, Andrew, Lauri and Adrienne; and five cousins.

Steve was a talented electric guitar player as well as an avid fisherman. He enjoyed reading about cosmology and physics, and was quite knowledgeable in both subjects.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, July 29 from 12-2 p.m. with a memorial service to begin at 2 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City.
