Wilbur L. Sowards, 85, of Orient, OH, passed away on December 1, 2016 at his residence. He was born on September 7, 1931 in Cabell County, WV. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Gladys Sowards.

Surviving family includes wife, Doris, children, Jeffrey (Lori) Sowards, Brent (Ellen) Sowards, grandchildren, Amanda (Beau) Moore, James Sowards, great-grandchildren, Evelyn and Leighton Moore. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm, Monday, December 5, 2016 at Steadfast Pentecostal Church, 4500 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123.

A funeral service will be held at 3pm, Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at the church conducted by Pastor Kevin Brown.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the church.
