Carmack, Diana (Purdy) passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the age of 54 after a brief battle with cancer. Diana was born April 13, 1963 to parents Clarence and Carol Purdy in Newark, Ohio. During her life, Diana touch the lives of so many people. She was full of joy, laughter and loved a good conversation. She was a loving mother, sister, daughter and friend. Diana is greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. She is proceeded in death by maternal and paternal grandparents.
Diana is survived by parents Carol and Clarence Purdy, brothers James Purdy, William Purdy and Steven (Terra) Purdy, sister Evelyn Purdy (Robert Smith), children Heather Carmack, Jesse Carmack (Lori Schneider), and Joanna Carmack (Jacob Skinner), grandchildren Liberty Losey and Christina Russell, nieces Alicia Purdy and Eleni Purdy, great-niece Lylie Shaw, caretaker and best friend Georgetta (Joe) Casnellie and numerous other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held in honor of Diana on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at 12:30 pm at CenterPoint Church located at 2505 Hyde Road, Grove City, Ohio 43123. A celebration of Diana’s life will immediately follow the memorial service at the home of Georgetta Casnellie.
