Sylvia Rose Coder, 80, devoted mother, passed away peacefully after an extended illness on May 19, 2017. She was born on October 18, 1936 in Mt. Vernon, OH.
Sylvia retired from the Franklin County Sheriff's Department and had also worked for Richland County Sheriff's Department.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Alice Gerrard and brother, Gordon Gerrard.
Surviving family includes daughters, Cherie (Montie) Taylor, Sharon (Jim) Rathburn, dear friend and companion, Ronald Aberts, grandchildren, Michelle (Timothy) Butterbaugh, Candice Rathburn, Cameron Rathburn and nephew, Douglas (Janet) Gerrard.
Private family services will be held.
