Stephen S Miller

Stephen S. Miller, 72 Years, of Dresden, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 13th, 2017, unexpectedly. Steve was born on November 22, 1944 in Chillicothe, Ohio and grew up in Frankfort, Ohio, the only child of Glenn A. Miller and Mary E. Miller (Triplett). He gave his heart to Jesus in August of 1971 at a Billy Graham Crusade. He served in many capacities at Jersey Baptist Church, Pataskala, Ohio, including Sunday School Teacher, Pianist, Business Manager and Treasurer, always considering Jersey Baptist his home church no matter where else he might attend. His love for people, cooking, playing piano and his servant's heart made him a perfect fit as Innkeeper at Sarah's House Victorian Bed & Breakfast in Dresden, which he purchased with his wife, Tina in 2005. His love for and faith in God was an inspiration to all who knew him. Steve is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 13 years, Tina (Hammond) Miller, two beautiful daughters, Michele North of Gahanna, Ohio and Melissa (David) Woodruff of Columbus, Ohio, a Grandson, Garrett North and two Granddaughters, Anna Woodruff and Alyssa Woodruff. He is also survived by an Uncle, Robert (Irene) Triplett, many cousins, close friends and church family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn A. and Mary E. Miller.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Jersey Baptist Church, 13260 Morse Rd, New Albany, Ohio.
