Danny Joe Stephens, age 78, went to be with the Lord on July 19, 2017. He was born May 30, 1939 in Hardy, KY.

He is preceded in death by his wife Kay; parents Raymond Stephens and Margaret Walker; brothers Bobby and Billy Ray; grandson Jay Walburn.
Danny is survived by his children Teresa (Joe) Walburn, Danny (Rhonda) Stephens, and Sherry (Matthew) Fout; sisters Freda (Shane) Powers, and Debby (Steve) Allen; brother Ronald (Becky) Stephens; grandchildren Emily Norton, Danny Stephens III, Wyatt Fout and Wayde Fout; great-grandchildren Marena Walburn, Joey Walburn, Grace Walburn, Katie Norton, Austin Norton, and Brody Stephens; as well as extended family and friends.

Danny was an avid Reds fan, golfer, and loved his beer and his Harleys. He enjoyed going to see the dog and horse races. Danny had grapefruit trees and would make his own grapefruit juice. He was a family man and had a contagious laugh. Spades, his dog, was one of his best friends. Danny will truly be missed by all who knew him.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday July 26, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, starting at 11am until time of service at 1pm. A burial will take place following services at Green Lawn Cemetery, 1000 Greenlawn Ave, Columbus, OH.
