Jimmy (Jim) E. McBee, age 58, Columbus, Ohio. Lost his battle to cancer and peacefully went to heaven on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 8:09am at his residence.

Survived by Wife Cheryl (Schweyer) McBee, Children, Carmen (John) Hall, April (Joe) Clark, Wayne (Miranda) Robison, Grandchildren Ian, Ryan, Naomi (Hall), Thomas, Brooklyn, Rocco (Clark), Darby, Nina, Callie, Nolan (Robison). Mother, Lucille Slone, siblings, Phillimenia Parsley, Tom (Wanda) McBee, John (Doreen) McBee. Many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by father Earl (Betty) McBee, and step-father Randall (Buster) Slone

Graduate of Westland High School class of 1977 but graduated a year early with the class of 1976.

Jim loved being outdoors whether it be anywhere near the water, boating, skiing, tubing, camping, vacationing, cruising around the Caribbean.

Anyone who knew Jim knew that he was selfless. So kind and caring about others.

Nobody was a stranger to Jim.

He always made everyone feel welcome and would go out of his way to help anyone.

He was loved by many.

He was an opportunist and entrepreneur of many things including Solo Mufflers & Solo Auto Sales.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 1:00-4:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City, with the memorial service beginning at 4:00 PM.
