William R. Allen Sr., 67, passed away Aug. 13, 2017.

He was preceded in death by mother, Patricia Allen; father, James Vitale; mother and father-in-law, Verna and Stan Seth.

Bill is survived by wife of 50 years, Patty Allen; son, William (Laura) Allen II; brother, James (Lisa) Vitale; grandchildren, Autumn Allen, Taylor Sparkman, Gabbie Delong, Sarah Emerson, and Aiden Cox; great-grandchildren, Zane, Carter, and Maddox; sister-in-law, Kay Smith; nieces, Shannon (Ronnie) Minehart and Mandy Vitale; nephews, Justin Smith and Jamie Vitale; best friends, Kelly Sheppard and Ed (Laira) Cox; many great nieces, great nephews, and friends.

Bill worked for BP Oil Co. for over 30 years. He loved riding his horse in all the parades around town. He would attend all of his granddaughters' cheer competitions. Bill always put his family first and tried to help others. He never met a stranger.

Visitation Monday, August 21, 2017 from 10am until the time of Funeral Service at 12pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Interment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, OH.
