James D. Osborne Sr., age 58, passed away on September 5, 2017. He was born February 3, 1959 in Columbus, OH.

James was a Veteran of the US Navy where he served for almost 14yrs. He loved to bowl where he excelled as one of the better bowlers in his day with numerous 300’s and 800’s ask him he was never afraid to tell you. His greatest joy was always his kids and grandkids.

Preceded in death by grandparents David and Dixie Osborne; parents Rolland Sr. and Mary Eaken; sister Tami Lewis; grandson Colton Weiner

Survived by wife Janet; children James Osborne Jr. (Jennifer), Tonya Osborne (Josh Weiner), Erica Trego (Brandon Bolin); grandchildren Jorden, Jaden, Jace, Addilyn, and Gage; sisters Judy Snyder, and Lisa Drosos; brothers Mike, Tim, Ron, and Dewey Eaken; Aunts and Uncles; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and numerous friends and bowling buddies.

Visitation will be Monday, September 11, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Grove City, from 5pm until time of service at 7pm. Flowers are welcome as are contributions to the family to help with funeral costs, in care of Tim Eaken.
