Virginia "Jenny" Galilei

Virgina (Jenny) Lee Galilei, 78 of Pataskala, Ohio passed away on October 20, 2017. She was born November 22, 1938 in Hetzel, West Virginia to the late Granville H. and Ida (Kirk) Spaulding. Jenny is also preceded in death by her son, Michael Spaulding, sisters Anna Mae (Harold) Murphy, Ruth (Doug) Workman, Mary (Bill) Morris. Her father and mother in law Frank and Jennie Galilei, Sr, Anthony (Sofia) Galilei, Jerry Galilei, sisters Rose (Louis) DiPaolo, Constance and (Robert Beum) and (William Thomas), William F. Galilei, brothers-in-law Joseph DiZeo and Larry Wolfe. Jenny is survived by Frank “Gish” Galilei, Jr her loving husband, children Kevin (Sondra) Garner, Bettina (Ray) Misner, Regina (Edward) Lang, Annetta, Connie, Anthony, William, Galileo, Joseph (Lora) and Vincenzo Galilei, 21 grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law Paula Spaulding, many nieces and nephews from West Virginia, North Carolina and Ohio, brother Walter Lee (Gloria) Spaulding, sister Deloris Wolfe, Sylvia (Don) Lemley, Mary Lou (Carroll) Miller, Betty Jo (Daniel) LaPenna, Georgia Galilei. Jenny is retired from the Westerville City Schools after 26 years.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from 4-8 pm at Newcomers Funeral Home 3047 E. Dublin Granville Road Columbus, Ohio 43231.

Funeral Services will be at 11am on October 25, 2017 at Forest Lawn Memorial Garden Mausoleum with Walter Lee Spaulding officiating.
