Max F. Hart, 80, passed away Monday, December 4, 2017. Max was born in Ripley, WV on February 2, 1937, to the late Willard A. and Lolitta M. (Hogsett) Hart.

Max is also preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn (Suck) Hart; son, Larry Hart and brother, Willard E. Hart. He is survived by his daughter, Teri (John) Cheeseman; brother, Mike Corns; grandchildren, Jennifer (Ahmet) Hart-Kilic, Brian (Kate) Hart, Sean Hart, Zachary Salyers; great-grandchildren, Ilyas Kilic, Maya Kilic, Cecilia Hart and Vincent Hart; special brother-in-law, Jim (Teresa) Suck; nieces, nephews, cousins, canine companion, “Mayzie” and many friends.

Max retired from Columbia Gas Service Corporation, served over 30 years in the Naval Reserve and belonged to the ARRL (Amateur Radio Relay League) for over 60 years.

Family and friends will gather on Sunday, December 10, 2017 2-4 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231 with a Funeral Service to follow at 4 PM.

Interment will be held on Monday, December 11, 2017, 1PM at Ravenswood Cemetery, Ravenswood, WV.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Central Ohio Diabetes Association, 1100 Dennison Avenue, Columbus, OH 43201.
