Vannara Ryu Man

Vannara Ryu Man, 13, was granted his angel wings on Saturday, December 2, 2017. Vannara was born in Columbus, OH on September 1, 2004.
He is survived by his mother, Thea Mao and step-father, Tony Chea; his father, Sara Man; brothers and sisters, Karionna, Kaylee, Jayden, Eliana, and Alex; grandparents, Srouch Man and Sarom Chhath, Chan Mao and Bora Ban, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Ryu, his preferred name, was an 8th grade student at Wedgewood Middle School. He was also a member of HAY (Healthy Asian Youth), an afterschool program sponsored by AACS (Asian American Community Services). He enjoyed playing video games, spending time with his family, making jokes and having fun with his brothers and sisters. He had a knack for making the most silliest and goofiest of faces when taking a picture.
Those that knew Ryu, described him as being funny, creative, sweet and an all-around awesome kid. He was loved by all and he will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be held from 5-7pm, Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. A service will be held at 12pm, Monday, December 11, 2017 at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH. In lieu of flowers please donate at www.newcomercolumbus or at gofundme.com/eysfym-ryus-funeral-expenses.
