Ralph Edward Luffler, 71, passed from this life to his heavenly home on Friday, January 19, 2018.

Preceded in death by his parents, Jane and Ralph Luffler. Ralph is survived by his wife and soul mate of 44 years, Suzanne; children, Chris (Ali) Luffler, Carrie (John) Frazier, and Corey (Halena) Luffler; grandchildren, Reid, Jude, and Lincoln Luffler, Evie, Andie, and Leah Frazier, Lucas, Lily, and Liberty Luffler; also survived by sister Susan (Ken) Rife; sisters-in-law, Mary Chaytor, Jeanne Chaytor, Beth (Don) Race and brother-in-law, Mark Chaytor, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Eagle Scout and Vietnam Veteran, Ralph retired as CEO from South Central Power Company. He enjoyed spending his winters at Marco Island, Florida, and summers at Apple Valley with his grandkids. Ralph was a humble man, described as a rock…strong and dependable, with a quiet, and gentle nature.

He was loved and will be greatly missed.

Viewing will be at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd on Tuesday January 23 from 4-7pm. Funeral service will be at St John XXIII in Lithopolis on Wednesday January 24th at 11am, viewing 1 hour prior. Fr. Denis Kigozi, Celebrant.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ralph’s memory to Catholic Charities or Joseph’s Coat of Central Ohio, 240 Outerbelt St., Columbus, OH 43213.
