Marcus Antonio McMillan Sr., 57, was called home suddenly on Tuesday, February 20, 2018.

Born on October 20, 1960, he was the son of Evadean Davis and the late Nelson McMillan. Marcus was also preceded in death by his brother Marlon.

He is survived by his wife Debra McMillan, mother Evadean Davis; sons Marcus (Amanda) McMillan, and Marlon McMillan; brothers Dewayne (Shalonda) Davis, Michael (Mar’shai)Davis; grandchildren Ayana and Marcus McMillan. Marcus is also survived by a host of step-siblings, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins, all whom loved him dearly.

Marcus was a free spirit who enjoyed life. When he was in our presence, his sense of humor and ability to make us laugh was a highlight of the family gatherings. Marcus enjoyed spending time with his family, basketball, listening to music, socializing, and playing cards.

Marcus worked for Orton Ceramics and was retired at the time of his death.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 26th, 12:00 PM, at Newcomber Funeral Home, Northeast Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231. A public viewing will be held at 11:00 AM followed by the funeral at noon. Burial arrangements will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery, 1000 Greenlawn Ave, Columbus, OH 43223.
