Martha worked as a waitress at Emil’s Steer Inn. She worked at Westinghouse and J C Penney warehouse and was the store manager in Majestic Paint stores in Columbus, Ohio, before moving with her husband to New Matamoras in 1995. She was an active member in the Red Hats of New Matamoras. She learned to crochet as a young child. She loved to crochet. She created many beautiful crochet items, which she entered in the Washington County Fair and won many first place prizes.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 ½ years, Ronald Lindsley; infant son Earl Lindsley; siblings, Laura Compton and Homer Lee Jr,
Martha is survived by her brother Eddie Lee (Rocky) and sister Anita Grimm (Phillip); her daughters, Ronda Corns (Marvin), Corliss Cunningham (Dean), Wendy Snyder, Cheryl Miller (Gary) and sons, Ronald Lindsley Jr., John Lindsley (Tami); 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews whom she also loved dearly.
She was a very dedicated mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She was very proud to have seen five generations.
The family will receive friends from 10 am-12 Friday, March 23, 2018 at Newcomer Funeral Home 3393 Broadway Grove City Ohio 43123, funeral service will be held at Noon. Internment at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens 5802 Elder Rd. Canal Winchester, Ohio 43110
