David E. Ralston, age 94 of Edison, former resident of Minerva Park, Columbus, passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018. He was born on November 3, 1923 to the late Robert Bruce and Mary Vaun (Thornberry) Ralston. Along with his parents, David is preceded in death by his wife of 58 years Joanne Ralston, daughter Carol White, brothers Frank, Robert and Phillip Ralston. Dave graduated from North High, as well as his time at The Ohio State University. He was a lifelong member of Grace Brethren Church, 32nd Degree Mason, member of York Lodge, member of Shriners, retired after 50 years of service with Worthington Industries/Capital Tool and Die. Served his country during WWII in the Philippines. He always had a smile on his face. David is survived by children Barbara L. Capuana (Mark), David B. Ralston (Cathy); grandchildren Kate Davis, Adreanne N. Regner, Kelly A. Ralston (Kyla), Jonathan D. Ralston; great-grandchildren Gracyn J. Bialko, Sophia L. Regner, Corissa V. Regner, Zachary Davis, Colton Davis, Marissa Davis, Cole David Ralston, sister-in-law Ginny Harper (Fred).

Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, OH on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from 11am until time of service at 12pm.

Burial to follow at Blendon Central Cemetery, Westerville, OH.
