Ronald D. Spencer, 78, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 in Columbus, Ohio at Columbus Colony with his beloved wife Judy by his side. Ronald was born on October 28, 1939 in Columbus to David W. and Pearl (Rhodes) Spencer.

Ronald is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard Spencer; father in-law, Clyde Parrish; mother-in-law, Gladys Parrish.

He is survived by his loving wife, Judith Spencer; sons, Todd Allan (Pamela) Spencer and Mark Alan (Brenda) Spencer; grandchildren, Jennifer (James) Witcher, Michael (Tiniah) Spencer, Matthew Spencer, Amanda (Kevin) Maag, Joshua (Caitlin) Sims; great-grandchildren, Cannon and Beckham Maag, Thad and Wyatt Sims and Peyton Spencer; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Ronald worked for 23 years at AAA Ohio Auto Club in Worthington. He was a devoted member of the Church of the Good Shepherd where he sang in the choir. In retirement, he volunteered at St. Ann's Hospital. Ronald also enjoyed all genres of music, auto racing and Ohio State football and basketball.

Family will receive friends on Monday, April 23, 2018 from 9:30 am to 11:00 am at Church of the Good Shepherd, 6176 Sharon Woods Blvd., Columbus, Ohio 43229 where a funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 am. Entombment will be at Northlawn Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may made in Ronald's memory to Mount Carmel Foundation, 6150 E. Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43213.
