Marilyn had an unwavering faith in God and passed that faith along to her children and grandchildren. She was a charter member of Faith Covenant Church for 40 years and had been very involved in many activities. Her favorite things were teaching Sunday School, helping with Vacation Bible School, making meals and gifts for those in need and serving as a fervent prayer warrior. She had a deep love for God’s word and lived to serve Him.
Marilyn received her Pharmacy Degree from The Ohio State University and worked as a hospital pharmacist for over 40 years. She had a love of learning and sought many opportunities to continue her education. Marilyn loved to travel and was able to visit many different countries including 3 trips to her beloved Israel. She loved life and lived it to the fullest through her love of reading, camping, biking, jogging, swimming and water aerobics.
Marilyn was predeceased by her loving parents, Everett and Dorothy Wigger. She is survived by her sister Joan Penn (Tom), son Scott Grim, daughter Stephanie Thomas (Kevin), and her beloved grandsons, Nick Thomas, Cody Thomas, Patrick Thomas, and Drew Thomas.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 10:00 AM with a Celebration of Life Service beginning at 11:00 AM at Faith Covenant Church, 3607 Dempsey Rd, Westerville OH, 43081.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Faith Covenant Church.
