1935 - 2018

Margarette Mae Dennis, 83 of Grove City, Ohio, passed away at her home with her family present on Tuesday, June 5th after her battle with COPD and cancer.

Beloved wife of Ken Dennis (deceased 2012), Walter Tourtellotte (deceased 1999) and the father of her children Roy Dennis (deceased 1969). Mae was preceded in death by her loving parents Ken and Helen Armentrout and her brothers Ronald and Feldon "Bucky".

Mae is survived by her loving children, Edmond Dennis, Daniel Dennis, Tammy Wise and Jeff Dennis, her best friend and sister and brother in law Karen and Sonny Burdett, 12 grandchildren, Michael, Ryan, Eddie, Shawn, Christopher, Michelle, Jessica, Nicole, Adam, Ashley, Jeremy and Brandy and 9 great grandchildren, Tyler, Donovan, Liliana, Madison, Gavin, Kinley, Carter, Paxton, and Mila. 1 niece, Tara Wagner, 4 nephews Clyde, Gregg, and Jay Thompson, Steve Armentrout. Her most valued confidants that kept her kids in line, Anita Dennis (Eddy) Amy Dennis (Dan), Joe Wise (Tammy) and Melanie Dennis (Jeff).

Mae grew up in rural West Virginia and supported the family with her entrepreneurial spirit by successfully operating two business concerns. Mae will always be remembered for her love of her Lord, Jesus Christ, and spent her life ministering His word and faith and for her unconditional love of her family and friends.

The family wishes to recognize Mt. Carmel Hospice care, especially recognizing Danielle and Erica. She will be missed by her many friends at Grovewood Place.

Friends and family may visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City on Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 5-8pm. Funeral Service Monday, June 11, 2018 at 11am. Interment will follow at Kingwood Memorial Park, Lewis Center off of Rte 23 in Delaware County.
