She was preceded in death by husband, James Edwin; parents, Rosalie and Lawrence Swank Sr.; sister, Charlotte McDaniel.
Elaine is survived by children, Sandra (Thomas) Bohl and Jeffrey (Toni) Bean; grandchildren, Gretchen (Todd) Broecker, Katie (Martin) Spang, Jeremy Bean, and Josh (Kelsey) Bohl; five great-grandchildren; sister, Shelby Dupler; brother, William Swank Jr.; other family and friends.
Elaine was a good storyteller and writer, she liked to travel, and enjoyed working. She was a strong Christian and loved sharing her faith with others.
Visitation Friday, June 22, 2018 from 10am until the time of Funeral Service at 12pm at Christian Center Church, 298 Rocky Fork Dr. S., Gahanna, OH 43230. Interment to follow at Betzer Cemetery, Carroll, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Elaine's memory to Christian Center Church.
