Ruth Hutchinson, 77, of Westerville, was received into the arms of her loving Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, June 16, 2018.

Ruth was born November 6, 1940 to James Owen and Alice Marie (Underwood) Mussetter. She was married to William Lee Hutchinson. Ruth was a member of Huber Ridge Christian Union where she sometimes played piano for the services. Ruth was a longtime friend of Bill W. and devoted many years helping others. Ruth was very competitive, loved to play games, especially Euchre, and it was tough to beat her. She was a sharpshooter in high school, motorcycle rider, bowler, and had trouble sitting still for a minute. Ruth was very generous and gave selflessly to her children and grandchildren.

Ruth will be deeply missed by her; children Kimberly (Jeff) Best, Pamela Remington; grandchildren Ellice (Joe) Habermehl, Jared (Casey) Best, Emma Best, Mikayla Anne Remington and Marissa Lee Remington; great-grandchildren Eloise Rose and Eleanor Ruth Habermehl, Amelia Grace Best; sister Virginia (Ginny) Turner.

Along with her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband and brother Jack Mussetter.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 5pm to 8:30pm at Newcomer Funeral Home NE 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus.

Funeral services will be Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 10am at the funeral home with Pastor Brad Grandison officiating.

Burial will be at Blendon Central Cemetery.
