Mary "Molly" Collen McConnell left this world on June 30, 2018 at the age of 71. Those whose lives she touched will miss her wit, generosity, and loving manner.
Preceded in death by her parents Richard, Sr. and Thelmagene McConnell she is survived by brothers Andrew and Richard, Jr., and her beloved niece Michaela McConnell.
A graduate of Newark High School class of ’65, she retired from 30 plus years of service at The Ohio State University. She was a long-term member of the Republicans Women’s Club, choir alto in the Worthington Methodist Church, and a huge Buckeye fan. Molly was an enthusiast of British and American history; a devotee to the classics of the silver screen; loved Lucile Ball; and was quick to offer a nickname to those she loved. Her closest friends refer to her as a true Golden Girl. Molly had a wealth of friends. She will be missed.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Worthington Methodist Church are appreciated.
Memorial services are scheduled for 1:00 Saturday, July 21 at Worthington United Methodist Church chapel, 600 North High Street, Worthington, OH.
