In Memory Of
Dolores Marie Ziglar
1935 - 2018

Mrs. Dolores Marie Ziglar (83), our beloved Mother, Grandma, and Sister is in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. Her heavenly Father opened His arms and took her home on July 4, 2018. Dolores was comforted by family in her son’s home Urbancrest, Ohio.

Dolores was born on March 18, 1935 and raised in Urbancrest, Ohio. Dolores was the oldest of 4 children from the union of Nathaniel and Fannie (Quinichett) Collins. Dolores attended Urbancrest Elementary and graduated from Grove City High School. She was a Girl Scout and later became a Leader. Dolores, affectionately called “Dorchy” by family and friends was a homemaker that loved to travel. She visited many, many, states in her life time. Dolores loved to fish, but may be most remembered for her superb bowling skills.

She was a multiple term Urbancrest Village Council Member. Dolores served her Village with expertise and honesty for over twenty plus years. Her service to the community was genuine with a diligent passion for the village residents. Dolores was baptized in Jesus Name in 2007 at True Vine Church of Apostolic Faith, Elder Jerry C. Sanders was the Pastor. She was a faithful member at True Vine Church, in Urbancrest, Ohio until her death. Dolores loved attending bible study and enjoyed studying the word of God with the saints.

Her favorite scriptures were Psalm 91, 27, and 25, amazing, just like her mom. Dolores leaves a legacy of being a descendant of the First African American Family to migrate in the late 1800’s to the Village now called Urbancrest, located in Ohio.
