William E. Walker, 83, of Columbus, OH, passed away July 8, 2012. He was born in Jackson, OH on October 14, 1928.

William was a veteran serving in the United States Army. He retired from Anchor Hocking Corporation. He was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post 1380 and American Legion Post 888.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Carmen Ruby (Adams) Walker, wife, Pauline Perkins, son, Kenny Lee Walker. Surviving family includes,daughter, Linda Wolgamot, grandsons, Greg A. Walker (Ashley Smith), Chad D. Walker, great-grandchildren, Chayton, Charity, Curtis and Caden.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00pm, Friday, July 13, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Graveside services with military honors will be held at 11:30am, Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH.
