Marlin E. Tooley, 71, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2012 at his residence.

He was born July 25, 1941 in Franklin, Ohio, son of the late Enoch and Mary Lucille Knott Tooley.

In addition to his parents, Marlin was preceded in death by his sisters, Shirley and Catherine.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Laura Rhoades Tooley; son, Raymond (Judi) Rhoades; brother, Jack Deland; grandchildren, Natazia, Amber/Aydon, Kristin and Zachary.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 5, 2012 from 2:00-3:00 PM at Faith Christian Center, 5325 Smothers Road Westerville, Ohio 43081, with the memorial service beginning at 3:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Faith Christian Center.

Marlin was known by all as a sincere, caring, generous person. He was always available to help anyone with anything. Marlin will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to have known him.
