Nick Ziza Jr., 87, passed away on September 1, 2012 at Mount Carmel East. He was born on October 28, 1924 in Mingo Junction, Ohio, to Nick and Helen Ziza.

Nick proudly served his country in World War II. He retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel after 31 years of service.

Nick is preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Danica Karas, Mildred Zatezalo, Peter, John, and Emil Drzayich, Ann Bellopatrick, Eli Ziza and George White. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Virginia; children, Nick (Michael), Lorraine (Jim), John (Jennifer); and grandchildren, John and Jessica.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 4 from 2:00-6:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice.
