John Herbert, 67, of Columbus, OH passed away September 11, 2012. He was born on September 18, 1944 in Glouster, OH. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Betty (Hickman) Herbert, brother, Larry Herbert.

Surviving family includes, loving wife, Mary Herbert, daughters, Jennifer (Lee) Perry, Angie (Steve) Foster, grandchildren, Gage Doolittle, Max Perry, sisters, Sue (Larry) Toole, Peggy (Ernest “Boo”) Sabo, brothers, Ron Herbert, Dave (Kelly) Herbert, Tom (Darlene) Herbert and special friends, Sandee and Jack Smith.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 2:00pm, Friday, September 14, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH, where a funeral service will be held at 2:00pm, following the visitation at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Alton Cemetery, Galloway, OH.
