1927 - 2012

Glenn R. Blades, 85, passed away September 27, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Marie; brother, Pat and sister, Lucille Weisenberger.

Glenn is survived by his wife of many years, Shirley; children, Tammy (Mike Romans) Blades, Doug (Sandy), Lori (Terry) Rice, Rusty (Kim) and Robin (Ron) Baisden; brother-in-law, Harry Weisenberger; grandchildren, Shawn, Nikki (Randy), Clair (Aaron), Laura, Nicole, Gabriel (Nikki), Tyler, Alex, Kaitlin, Katharine, Amber (Brandon) and Ron Jr.; great-grandchildren, Michael, Max, Morgan, Johnny, Brandi, Brienna and Marleah; as well as many other family members and friends.

Glenn served proudly in WWII and was a lifetime member of VFW 2505.

Visitation Sunday, September 30, 2012 from 5-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Monday, October 1, 2012 at 12:30 pm with visitation two hours prior at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens, Canal Winchester, OH.
