Earl "Dean" Lemity
1933 - 2012

Earl “Dean” Lemity, 79, of Columbus, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.

He was born February 4, 1933 in Rose Farm, son of the late George and Elsie Lemity.

In addition to his parents, Dean was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

He was a 2012 inductee into the Perry County Baseball Hall of Fame. Dean served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He was an avid golfer and Buckeyes fan ushering football games for 20 years.

Dean is survived by his wife, Linda Lemity; son, Brad (Erin) Lemity; sisters, Emma Trick, Bernice Brown and Elsie Holcombe.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 17, 2012 from 4:00-7:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, with the memorial service beginning at 7:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Central Ohio Diabetes Association, 1100 Dennison Ave. Columbus, OH 43201.
