Joan “Joni” Williams, 67, of Lancaster, fell asleep in death on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Rhodes Hall at O.S.U. Medical Center after a long battle with Leukemia.

She was born August 29, 1945 in Columbus.

Because of Joni’s absolute love of animals, we ask that in lieu of flowers donations may be made in Joni’s name to your local animal shelter.

The family would like to extend a special message to the doctors and nurses at The James Cancer Hospital and Rhodes Hall who took such good care of her on her final days.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.

Joni was a kind, loving, funny and extremely generous person. She loved her family, pets, and gardens very much.
