Herman R. Smith, 67, passed away May 23, 2015. Survived by wife, Connie Caldwell-Smith; children, Marcie J. Archer and Bryan J. Smith; grandchildren, Christopher S.S. Horsley and Kaylee L. Smith; father, Ray Smith; siblings, Danny Smith, Rick (Maria) Jones, Gary Smith, Debbie Cook, Joanie (Kenny) Michaels, Leslie Pearson, Darlene (Ross) Cummings, Kathy (Roy) Wolfe, Cheryl (Tom) Wilson, Karen (Earl) Paxton and Savannah (Bob) Chappalear; sisters and brothers-in-law; the Hall family; life-long friend, Tennis Ooten; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Joanna Jones.
Herman served in the United States Army and retired from Vectra. He was an avid bowler, golfer, Buckeye fan and beach bum.
Memorial Service Friday, May 29, 2015 at 10:30 am at The Obetz Community Center, 1650 Obetz Ave., Obetz, OH.
