In Memory Of
Celia Mitchka
1920 - 2014

My dear mother, Sr. Celia (Koterba) Mitchka finished her earthly course today, November 22, 2014. She was 94 years old. Born July 11, 1920 to Anna Bylina Koterba and John Koterba, she was one of eight children. She leaves behind a daughter, Sr. Debbie Stewart and a son Kenneth J. Mitchka, two sisters, Sr. Becky Blicharz and Sr. Ruth Burns, five grandchildren, Rachel St John Leggott, the late Daniel J Stewart, Derek Mitchka, Melanie Pacetti, Todd J Mitchka and nine great grandchildren, Jonathan Stewart, Erik and Laura Stewart, Mackenzie, Joel and David Alexander, James, David and Donte Pacetti and many nieces and nephews.

She was an active member of the Paterson Bible Student Ecclesia for 46 years before moving to Florida in February 1986, and was a member of the Clearwater Bible Student Ecclesia for 24 years. In April of 2010 she moved, following the death of her husband, Br. Joseph Mitchka, she then came to live with Br. Laddie and I, in Ohio, and was a member of the Associated Bible Students of Central Ohio for four years. While living in Ohio she so enjoyed the additional experience of attending the on-line Bible studies and conventions.

She was loved and will be dearly missed by her children and her family and by her Brethren.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, November 30, 2014 from 2:00pm-3:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, OH 43231 followed by a memorial service at 3:00pm. Please leave a message of condolence for the family during this difficult time.
