Donna Gean Huff, 82, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015.

She was born July 12, 1932 in Columbus, daughter of the late Oscar Dean and Nellie Vesta Laviers Needles.

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll “Bill” Huff; sister, Irene Allen; brother, Don Needles; nephews, Donnie and David; nieces, Marcella, Linda and Patty.

She was a graduate of North High School and Otterbein College.

Donna retired from DSCC with 39 years of service and was inducted into DSCC Hall of Fame.

While she was devoted to her work, she often said she filed her brain at five.

For fun she crocheted baby blankets and researched family genealogy.

She was a lifetime member of the Ohio Eastern Star.

Donna was also a member of the Ladies Oriental Shrine (L.O.S.) for 20 years.

She is survived by her daughters, Carol “C.J.” Huff and Maria Huff; brother, Nelson (Judy) Needles; special sister-in-law, Janet Huff; nieces and nephews, Jimmy, Sharol, Holly, Kevin, Patty, Heather, Bobby, Ricky, Judy, Paul, Lilah, Ray, Chris, Sue, Gayla, David, Janet, Nancy, Hillary, Robert, Michelle, David and many special cousins and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 3:00-7:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, with a L.O.S. service beginning at 6:30 PM.

Funeral service will be Friday, January 30, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Fancher Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
