Cindy, was not just a co-worker, she was family, we'll all miss her very very much, she was a very special person. Junior and Joe, please always remember that her UCT family will always be here for you, just as Cindy had always been there for us.

Dear Joe & Family. Sorry to hear about your Mom. I know she had to be a good mother because she and your dad raised a great son.

~ Roxanna Burris - September 10, 2012

Cindy was a wonderful friend and co-worker, an absolutely genuinely good person who was always patient and kind. She will be missed in ways she never would have thought possible. My thoughts and prayers are with her family, especially Joe.

What a beautiful Lady, so kind, patient and hard working. RIP my friend.
God Bless you and your loving family. Our prayers are with you all.

~ Judy Drake - September 10, 2012

Cindy has been apart of my family even before I was born.  She grew up near my Mom in Adena, Ohio.  My Mom and Aunt Tina were two of her closest friends.  They all lived together in Columbus and enjoyed going out and having fun.  When my Dad and Mom were married she was still living with us.

Obviously, my Mom knew what a special and wonderful person Cindy was because when I was baptized my parents asked her to be my Godmother.  She filled my life with so much joy and happiness.  She was always there for me and we shared so many special times and memories that I will cherish forever.  Although, I was not related to Cindy by blood her family was our family and vice versa.  What I will miss most is everything; her gentle smile, contagious laugh, our talks, her compassion I could go on and on.
A little over 5 years ago I lost my wonderful Mother Kathy. That was one of the hardest things I ever endured.  But Cindy was there for me and helped me through it.  I hope she knows just how much she meant to me.  Now, I know I have two special angels watching over me….what a comforting feeling.

I am very thankful because I did see Cindy everyday because we also worked together for more than 16 years.  Her cubicle is just outside of my office.  It's going to be hard not seeing and hearing her voice everyday but I know she is in a much better place.  Her UCT family has lost a very dedicated and loyal employee of 45 years and she will be greatly missed.

We all lost a precious gem on September 6, 2012.  She was a great Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Co-worker and Friend.  I will always love her with all my heart.  Jr. and Joey you filled her life with unconditional love and happiness.  She always had a smile on her face when she spoke about her siblings and of course she was a very proud Grandmother. To her family my prayers go out to you.  The pain you are all feeling will only get better in time.  Please know we are all here for you.

I know I am a better person for knowing Cindy…WE ALL ARE!  May you rest in peace dear Godmother and friend.

Your Loving Goddaughter Nikki

maryann,so sorry for your loss. your friend and co-worker Lilly.

~ Lilly Walters - September 9, 2012

Cindy was a nice and fun neighbor. I will miss passing out candy at Holloween with her. She always had a bright smile and kind word for everyone. She will be missed very much.

~ Linda Ball - September 8, 2012

Cindy has been a very special friend to me and mommy. We didn't get to visit Cindy a lot because we live far away, but there always were those "surprise" visits from Cindy, MaryAnn, and Rosie back home here at festivals. How special they were to us.
Cindy has touched our life with her kind and thoughtful ways and has touched others in many ways, also. She will always have a special place in our hearts.
I know that Cindy and my Aunt Kathy ( another special person in my heart who just happened to also be Cindy's friend) are both watching over us now.
Our prayers are with you all,
Angelica and Angie Kidd

I have known Cindy for 16 years, she had always had the same smile, very friendly and kind. Her attitude never changed, she was a good person and I am glad that I had the pleasure of knowing her. Joe, you and your family will always be in my prayers.

~ Alfrieda Watts - September 7, 2012

I had the pleasure of knowing Cindy back in the 90's when I worked with her. She always had a nice smile and was always pleasant to be around. What a devoted hard worker, wife and mother she was. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

~ Patricia Watts (Patty) - September 7, 2012

Cindy was such a great person as I recenly had the opportunity to talk with her about her granddaughter and to see her eyes light up and the smile on her face when she shared the stories. This is trully a huge loss to so many people. Many prayers for Junior and Joe and the rest of the family and close friends. May God bless

~ Bill Leandres - September 7, 2012

Wow, share my memories of Cindy ? Where would I start ? How do you put in to words someone who changed your life ? From the scared 18 year old starting her first job to the middle aged woman of today dealing with new challenges, Cindy was my go to friend. Never judging, never impatient ALWAYS kind. She made me laugh, she let me cry on her shoulder. She always listened. We shared so much.
To Junior and Joe, I wish I had words to help with your pain. You made her life joyful, she was so proud of both of you as well as her granddaughters.
You have her friends to lean on. You are not alone.

~ Debbi Myers - September 7, 2012
