1949 - 2017

Rebecca J (Becki) DRAKE (Bodenheimer), passed away November 6, 2017 at home after a long battle with cancer. Becki was born in Dennison OH on March 26, 1949 to Crystal M. Senter Bodenheimer and Donovan V Bodenheimer.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Keith & Jim Bodenheimer; sisters Carol Renshaw, Judith & Sue Ellen Bodenheimer.

Becki is survived by her best friend, husband and caregiver David; daughter Tammi Mullins (Ty Middendorf); stepchildren Bryan & Barb Drake and Sherry & Bob Parmenter; grandchildren Marissa & Brady Mullins, Haley & Colin Middendorf, and Chase Parmenter; nephews Craig Renshaw, David Renshaw (Tom Eleazer) & Todd Renshaw and niece Paige (Art) Tavoularis. Becki also leaves behind many loving great nieces & nephews, in-laws, cousins, especially Kelly Shrimplin & close friends, including Brenda Stanley, and Becki's loving four legged companion, Sam.

Becki graduated from West High in 1967 and worked for the Heinzerling Memorial Foundation until retiring in 2011 with almost 25 years of service. Becki was a member of New Horizons United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be held at Newcomer, Grove City from 5-7pm on Thursday, November 9, 2017 and the memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 am on Friday, November 10, 2017 at New Horizons United Methodist Church. Rev. Kevin Chambers and Pastor Danny Dahl will be officiating. Michelle Belcher, Music Director at Cornerstone Christian Church will be singing. A memorial luncheon will follow the service for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Heinzerling Foundation, 1800 Heinzerling Dr, Columbus OH 43223.
