Joseph Ferry, age 70, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, December 10, 2017. He was born on March 6, 1947 in McArthur, OH.

Joe was a veteran of the US Army and retired from the US Post Office and Schneider National Transport after many years of service.

Joe loved his family and his house almost as much as he loved Las Vegas. He also dearly loved going on cruises and was the Buckeyes #1 fan through thick and thin.

His family intends to honor his passion by wearing OSU gear and invite their guests to do the same.

Surviving family includes wife Cherie Beirau-Ferry; sons, Jeff (Reina) Ferry and Ryan (Holley) Ferry; step-sons, Shaun (Annette) Queen and Rod (Hope) Beirau; 13 grandchildren; sister-in-law, Lisa (Jeremy Grove) Welches; brother-in-law, Bill (Pam) Walton; mother-in-law, JoAnn Rollins and also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by parents, Cpt. Elwood Ferry and Lucy Ferry (Sammons).

Funeral service will be held 6:00 p.m., Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Newcomer Grove City, 3393 Broadway, where visitation will be held 2 hours prior to service.
