Mona L. (Quick) Knouse, age 75 of Grove City, passed away Monday, January 8, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Mona fought a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.

Mona was a sweet, kind, and caring person with a terrific sense of humor who devoted her life to caring for children. Born in Creola, OH in 1942. Graduate of Marion Franklin in 1960. Married in 1962 for more than 55 years.

Survived by husband Holden; son Michael; daughter Michelle (Rob) Huston; grandchildren Aaron Huston and Brittany (Tyler) Lykins; great-grandson T.J. Lykins; siblings David Quick, Ellen Baugess, Marie Jones; and numerous extended family and friends.

Preceded in death by parents Darrell and Gertrude Quick; brother Donald Quick; infant brother; and grandson Robert James Huston IV.

Mona enjoyed spending time with family and friends and listening to gospel music. She also enjoyed walks with family. Mona especially enjoyed her frequent vacations to visit family in Pennsylvania. She worked at Ohio National and Huntington Bank. Attended Church of Christ of Christian Union on Delray Rd. and Grove City Church of the Nazarene. She was a hard worker who loved to help people. Special thanks to the staff at the Monterey Care Center and Brookdale Hospice for their dedicated care of Mona.

Visitation will be on Monday, January 15, 2018 at Newcomer, Grove City, from 5-8pm. Service will be Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Grove City Church of the Nazarene at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Brookdale Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association of Central Ohio.
