In Memory Of
Elizabeth "Lizzie" Sberna
1997 - 2018

Elizabeth (Lizzie) Anne Sberna, age 20, beloved daughter of Judy Bader (Dave Swartz) and Charles Sberna, Jr.; beloved sister of Jessica Bader (Joshua Reardon), Michael Bader, and Emma Sberna; devoted aunt to Ollie; beloved granddaughter of Don and June Hanigan and Mary and Charles Sberna (deceased); passed suddenly on February 6, 2018.

Lizzie was a brilliant, beautiful, talented, and kindhearted woman. No challenge was too great an obstacle for her to overcome. Lizzie’s determination and hard work helped her succeed at everything she tried. Always ready with a witty quip, Lizzie could make the whole room smile with ease. Her goofiness and smile (legendary) brightened every room she entered.

Helping others, no matter the circumstances, was a passion of Lizzie’s. She was the kind of person who would go without to ensure someone else didn’t have to. In her own words, “they needed help, so I helped.” Lizzie was also devoted and loyal. She loved her grandparents, parents, her siblings, and her nephew. If she was your friend, she would never leave you.

Despite her short time on Earth, Lizzie lived like no other. She would travel hundreds of miles with her friends “just because.” She would often call her family to check in from somewhere like Chicago because she had a taste for authentic pizza. In Gatlinburg, TN, Lizzie befriended a bear cub. In August of 2017 Lizzie and her mother travelled to Tennessee to view the solar eclipse in totality.

One of Lizzie’s best known lines was “I got this.” So Liz, it’s our turn to take a deep breath, remember your beautiful face, and say to ourselves… “I got this.”

A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lizzie’s honor to Lifeline of Ohio, 770 Kinnear Rd., Columbus, OH 43212, Attn: Contributions. www.lifelineofohio.org.
