Evelyn Palmore, 100, of Columbus, passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 1, 2018.

Evelyn was born May 15, 1918 to David and Violet (Wright) Jackman.

She was a long time member of Christ Fellowship Church and was a long time Avon representative. Evelyn was an avid bowler and loved spending time with her family.

She was married to James Palmore for 47 years.

Evelyn will be deeply missed by her; children Beverly (Edward) Colborn, Gary (Kelly) Palmore, Dee (Rick) Horner; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Sheldon O’Harra; sister Marie Clemens along with many nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, step-father William C. Pancake, Sister Edith, Brothers Charles and Dick.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 10am to 12pm at Newcomer NE Chapel 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus.

Funeral services will follow at 12pm at Newcomer NE Chapel.

Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

The family would like to share a special thanks to the staff at the Sanctuary at Tuttle Crossing.
