He is preceded in death by the love of his life for 60 years, 8 months and 16 days, his Chief, Eleanor.
Rocco was a hard working, successful man, having retired from The Ohio State University. He then went on to "make a difference" at Bruner Corporation, until he decided to really retire. His influence will be carried on by everyone he encountered.
Surviving family includes children, Rocco (Christine) Gualtieri, Dino Gualtieri, Christopher Gualtieri, Tony (Melissa) Gualtieri and Alicia (Greg) Geiger; grandchildren, Jamie, Susan (Steve), Michael (Melissa), Tiffany, Megan (David), Corey, Anthony, Todd (Amy), Lyndsey (Clint), Vincenso, Marcello, Olivia, Stevi (Nathaniel), Rachele, Dominic; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Addison, Chloe, Jackson, Breilynn, Taylor, Zachary, Ivan, Anndalynn, Courtney, Dmitri, Emanuel, Knox, Gino, Archer, Jazmine, Victor, Quinten, Colton, Lincoln, Oliver, Willa and Carlina; siblings, Addie, Tony and Lena; also survived by many other family and friends.
Preceded in death by mother, Liberata Gualtieri; siblings, Marie and Antoinette.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Newcomer Grove City, 3393 Broadway.
A funeral mass will be held Friday, October 19, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 2364 W. Mound St., Columbus, OH 43204.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Lockbourne, OH.
