He was born in Long Island, NY on January 7, 1948. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry O. and Audrey Raymond, sisters, Audrey, Mary, brother, Henry.
He is survived by son, Chris (April) Raymond, daughter, Michelle (Adrian) Fayson, grandchildren, Tyler (Cassie) Raymond, Bobby Perry, Shelia Perry, sister, Katherine Raymond, sister-in-law, Jeneniene Raymond, close nephew, Kevin (Val) Raymond and other nieces, nephews and friends.
Bob was a proud veteran who volunteered for two tours during Vietnam earning a Purple Heart and several commendation medals for heroism and valor while serving in the United States Army 25th Infantry Division.
After moving to Grove City, Bob was very involved in coaching GCKA soccer for many years. He loved watching his kids play sports and being involved in their lives.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the American Legion Post #532, 1571 Demorest Avenue, Columbus, OH 43228 from 1-5pm, Saturday, December 15, 2018.
The entombment will take place at Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 West Third Street, Dayton, OH 45428 on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 2:30pm. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Wounded Warrior Project.
