Charles H. Gander, age 94, passed away Friday December 7, 2018. He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Mary Lou Gander, daughter, Judith Carlisle, son, Charles W. Gander, grandson, Matthew (Alicia) Carlisle. Charles graduated from Meigs High School, class of 1939 and attended and graduated from The Ohio State University, class of 1943. He also studied Science at Miami University. Charles was a proud school teacher for 23 years. After his retirement Charles started his own business in Columbus constructing outdoor decks and providing home remodeling services. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
