Jerry Rambo, 66, of Croton, passed away January 27, 2019.

Jerry was born August 10, 1952 to Delmar and Virginia (Lawson) Rambo.

He proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War and the Air National Guard. He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association. Jerry was a former business owner of Swimming Pools of Ohio and Pond and Lake Specialist. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He was married to Rosemarie (Petre) for 46 years.

Jerry will be deeply missed by his wife; children Jason (Julie) Rambo, Tanya (Matthew) Carman ; grandchildren Matthew, Rachele, Jessica, Anthony ; brothers Larry, Ron, ; sisters Peggy, Nancy along with many other family and good friends and his faithful canine companion Diefenbaker.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be Friday, February 1, 2019 from 5pm to 8pm at Newcomer NE Chapel 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus.

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 10am at Newcomer NE Chapel.

Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Johnstown, where military rites will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the National Rifle Association.
