In Memory Of
Loretta Morrison
1962 - 2019

Loretta Lee Morrison, 56, of Columbus, passed away Friday, March 8. Lori was born July 13, 1962 to Joseph and Geraldine (Dewitt) Grosshart.

She was fun-loving and rebellious. Everyone who knew Lori at Whetstone Gardens and Care Center could give you great stories about her stubbornness and quirkiness, but they loved her. Lori loved them, too, but what she loved most were her daughter, her grandchildren, her husband, and her animals. When Lori was having a bad day, just a mention of her grandchildren cheered her up; when she looked at their pictures, her smile never stopped. She took in homeless animals throughout her life and was an ASPCA member until her death.

Lori will be deeply missed by her daughter Coda Morrison; son-in-law Matt Kendall; grandchildren Eleanor and Hazen Kendall; sister Vicki Garrett; brother-in-law Jim Garrett; niece and nephew Sara and Jesse Garrett; Aunt Vonnie and Uncle Jim Grosshart; cousins Sherry Allen and Jim Grosshart, Jr.

Lori was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas (Tom) Morrison.

Service and interment will be Friday, March 22 from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Woodland Mausoleum Chapel, Woodland Cemetery and Arboretum, 118 Woodland Ave. Dayton, OH with service led by Chelsea Gorman. An informal gathering of family and friends will follow at the Wexford on the Green Clubhouse, 2555 Royal Lytham Dr., Beavercreek, OH, where we will toast Lori with limoncello, listen to her favorite music, and celebrate her life. Lori wanted to be remembered with laughter and happiness, so please feel welcome to bring your favorite stories about her. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to bring a potluck dish to share at the family and friends gathering.
