Vernia Pence, age 71, passed away on July 4, 2019. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on March 1, 1948 to the late Elbert and Linnie Evans.

Preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Dale and Chester Evans; sisters, Opal Poplin and Myrtle Thivener.

She is survived by her daughter, Vickie Dixon; brothers, Charlie Evans; sisters, Versia Toy, Elsie Carter, Joyce Buck, and Carol Westfall; grandchildren, Christopher Dixon, Johnathan Sexton, and Haylee Watkins; great grandchildren, Elisha Dixon, Malachi Dixon, Sophia Sexton, and Jason Sexton.

Friends may call at the Newcomer Grove City Chapel on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and again from 3:00 PM until time of service at 5:00 PM.
