In Memory Of
Eric Davis
1977 - 2019
Eric served a full time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Provo, UT mission. He returned home with honor and married Amanda on November 2nd, 2002. He happily anticipated the arrival of each of his children. His greatest joy was being a father to them.
Eric was a dedicated family man. He put their needs ahead of his own. He worked hard to provide for them. He loved his career as an armed security officer and took pride in his work. He enjoyed many wonderful friendships through his work.
Eric loved to camp. He was so happy when he got his own camper. He loved taking his family out and sitting by the fire looking at the stars. He liked going new places and seeing where the camper would take us.
Eric was involved in anything his children were doing. He was a "super" volunteer for the Centennial High School Marching Band that his oldest daughter played flute in. He went to nearly every event and was excited to see the band perform. He made time for as many concerts, games, and events that his kids had that he was able to attend.
Anyone who knew Eric knew he loved movies, Star Trek, cop shows, and his regular Coke to drink. He always had one on hand with extra ice.
He will be sorely missed by his family and those that knew him well. He takes with him his contagious laugh and big personality that leaves a hole in our daily lives.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Gateway Building (Brown Brick Building), 3880 Gateway Blvd., Columbus, OH 43228.
Services to follow at 3:00pm. Family gathering to follow services.
Burial will be on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 10am at Alton Cemetery, just south of 377 Alton-Darby Creek Road, Galloway, OH 43119.
