James Russell Wassmuth, 61, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away December 9, 2019. He was born on June 20, 1958 to the late George R. and Theda E. Wassmuth.

Surviving family includes, sons, James Jr., Garret, and Carson; grandchildren, Carter, Benjamin, Conrad, Jaxton, Kason, Rhettson, Camberleigh; brothers, Terry and Roger Wassmuth; aunt, Freda I. Cramer.

James was a loving father and friend. He adored his grandchildren. His love for life was like no other. He loved camping and Put-In-Bay.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio.
