He was married to his beloved wife of 63 years, Barbara, who also preceded him in death.
He is survived by their children, Vicki (Steve) Kastor, Mike (Diane) Wise, Joe (Tammy) Wise, Jack (Kristine) Wise, and Steve Wise. Also survived by 1 sister, MaryAnn Johnson of Knoxville, Tn., 1 cousin, Ricky Dale Barnes of Buckeye Lake, Ohio, and 1 sister-in-law, Donna Horton of Zanesville, Ohio. He had 13 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
He attended Culver Military School during his high school years and went on to attend The Ohio State University where he graduated in June, 1960 with a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering. He later obtained his license as a Professional Electrical Engineer.
He was a longtime member of the Grove City Elks Lodge #37 and a member of the OLPH Knights of Columbus. He was an avid golfer.
Visitation is 10-12 noon, Monday January 20, 2020 at Newcomer Funeral Home SW, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. A Funeral Mass will follow at 1:00 at Our Lady if Perpetual Help Church, in Grove City.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice, Grove City, Ohio.
